Current Projects

The lab is focused on studying the role of chromatin structure in a diverse group of processes that happen on the molecule of DNA.The model organisms are human, yeast and flies. Research of chromatin structure, mainly at its higher levels of compaction, encompasses a large number of contemporary Molecular Biology techniques aiming at building a clearer picture of the role chromatin and its organization have on gene expression, DNA repair and recombination.
